Most of the other piano sample sets out there have been recorded with mics jammed inside the piano in a dry room. However, this one was recorded with an M/S mic arrangement just outside the open lid in a fairly live room. It is particularly well suited for soundtrack work and really shines in quiet passages thanks to the una corda layer
